Donations are the lifeblood of Goodwill. Each time you donate, you make a conscious effort to support our mission and our community. We welcome all levels of donations. Whether they are gently used items, computers, cars, services, time or money, they help improve the lives of thousands of Central Texans.

Donations may be dropped off during operating hours at more than 45 locations in Central Texas. A friendly Goodwill employee will help you unload, and all donations made to Goodwill are tax deductible.

Accepted Items

Goodwill appreciates the community for thinking of us when it comes to donations. We have a list of items that we can and cannot accept. The list is used only as a guideline. There may be certain items we can accept that are not listed, or there may be other items which we must turn down due to the size, condition or suitability. Vehicle Donations

Don’t waste your time and money trying to sell your unwanted vehicle—just donate it to Goodwill. It’s FREE, easy and tax deductible, plus the sale of your vehicle at auction helps to fund employment programs that help Central Texans find jobs in the community. Monetary Contributions

A monetary gift to Goodwill helps people earn their own way. It's a gift that keeps growing because productive workers make our economy stronger. A contribution to Goodwill not only fulfills an immediate need in a person's life by helping him or her earn a paycheck, it also gives the person marketable job skills and experience that will last a lifetime. Please browse through the ‘Employment Services’ page to learn more about how your donation will put people to work. Your donation will be put toward Goodwill's general workforce development fund unless otherwise designated for a specific program or service. Monetary gifts and bequests to Goodwill are tax-deductible as provided by law.

eBay Giving Works!

Another way to support the Goodwill Mission is to become a Giving Works Community Seller on eBay. Giving Works allows you to donate 10-100% of the final sale price of your item to Goodwill. These listings stand out with a distinctive charity ribbon next to the item title, and receive added visibility through specialized search functionality.

In addition to these features that help you sell your items, eBay’s Giving Works program, powered by MissionFish, will refund a percentage of eBay’s insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage that you are pledging to Goodwill.
