Goodwill Industries of Central Texas is proud to announce the Grand Opening of our first Job Help Center in San Marcos. With a more than 50% increase in service demand so far this year, we feel this Job Help Center is opening at a very appropriate time; therefore serving the needs of the San Marcos community. With this Job Help Center, San Marcos residents will be able to receive work related services right in their community. The opening of this new Goodwill Job Help Center will allow us to serve the people in the San Marcos and surrounding area. The Job Help Center is located at 1005 HWY 80, San Marcos, TX 78666.
This community-powered four day campaign directly serves the Goodwill mission with the funds generated from selling the donated goods in our retail stores. These funds translate into job training and search assistance, case management and youth service programs, such as school-to-work transition and GED training. Goodwill reworks your donations and reduces waste, so Weigh Good is a perfect opportunity to get together with your neighbors, friends and co-workers and turn your spring cleaning into an environmentally friendly, community effort.
