School-to-Work Transition
The School-to-Work Transition program is a cooperative effort between Goodwill stores, area employers and high schools to assist students with disabilities gain valuable work skills. Students are referred by their Vocational Adjustment Counselor and are selected to participate in 15-20 hours per week of supervised work experience while earning school credit. Students learn job readiness skills, and are often placed in competitive employment upon successful completion of the training program.
